Christmas has been good for us this year with lots of time for visiting family although not so much that it is overwhelming. Much better than year before last where we missed Christmas at Mama Miller's altogether because ALL of the kids had a meltdown.
We spent most the day at Mama Miller’s. Daddy and Suzan were both there all day. The kids rode the golf cart several times, played outside some and then played inside some. They watched a little bit of cartoons toward the end of the day. About 5:30, we went to John and Phyllis’ house for a soup party. We brought cans of soup as a joke. The boys both went all day without peeing even a little in their pants. They both wore big boy underwear (not underpants). Scott told me this morning that he needed to poo poo. Yesterday, he told me after he had started but then stopped and finished on the potty. He told me once today that he needed to pee pee – a great improvement. I think they are both potty trained although they may have a few accidents. We are going to continue with the big boy underwear with underjams at night. They like the word UnderJams.
It is really fun watching Deann's thinking. She is figuring out new words. She kept talking about the road being certain. I finally figured out maybe she meant surfaced. Today, I went in to get a lottery ticket for Darryl and she asked if I had gotten a lawyer ticket.

ReplyDeleteIt's the small successes we're after now. I never thought I'd be so happy that someone else didn't pee their pants. :)
